MARİNZON ELEKTRONİK TİCARET VE BİLİŞİM HİZMETLERİ A.Ş. (“Company”) collects and processes your personal data shared through its website https://www.marinzon.com/ (“Site”) and Platform. In accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”) and the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures for Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform (“Communiqué”), the Company is considered a "Data Controller" regarding the processing of personal data and prioritizes the security of collected personal data.
Pursuant to Article 3 of the Law, “any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person” is considered personal data.
If you share personal data of another individual, the Company assumes that you have informed the data subjects in accordance with Article 10 of the Law and have obtained the necessary legal basis for sharing under Article 5 of the Law.
1. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
Collected personal data is processed under the conditions and purposes outlined in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law. The personal data being processed includes:
- Name, surname, email address, IBAN information, phone number, and password.
The Company processes personal data for the following purposes:
- Managing product/service sales processes,
- Managing post-sales support services,
- Managing supplier relationship processes.
2. METHOD AND LEGAL BASIS FOR COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data shared with the Company may be collected electronically through the website and similar means. Personal data will be stored electronically and/or physically. Necessary technical security measures are implemented to prevent unauthorized access, manipulation, loss, or damage to your personal data.
Your personal data will be processed within the notified purposes and scope, and all necessary data security measures will be taken. It will be stored for the legally required period or, if no such period is specified, for as long as required by the processing purpose. After this period, your personal data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.
The Company collects personal data based on the legal ground of “necessity for establishing and fulfilling a contract” within the scope of establishing a service relationship and executing contracts. Your personal data may be transferred, recorded, stored, preserved, reorganized, or modified with cloud computing service providers using foreign data servers, based on your explicit consent and in compliance with the principle of maintaining data only for the necessary period.
3. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS AND HOW TO EXERCISE THEM
Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, as a data subject, you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
- Request information if your personal data has been processed,
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,
- Know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred, domestically or abroad,
- Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data and request notification of such corrections to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
- Request deletion or destruction of personal data if the reasons requiring its processing no longer exist, and request notification of such actions to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
- Object to an outcome arising against you due to the automated processing of your personal data,
- Demand compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.
You may submit your requests regarding these rights in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller.
